Mind focus is very essential while reviewing. Free your mind out of worries and anxieties. Pressure is ordinary as you have to take if for the first time. But, letting it eat you will only make it worse. Always free yourself out of any kinds of worries.

To start off, it is a good technique when you use mnemonics in studying. ABC is easier to remember. A will stand for airway to check if it is clear. Then B for breathing oxygen that will be transported around the body and C for circulation where cardiac arrest and hypoxia happen.

Then, the knowledge of Maslows Hierarchy of Needs must not be forgotten. Yes, this has been taught since you were in primary school but it is not an assurance. It is always safer to review the basic because you will really tend to forget them in the actual examination. Your physiologic need is at the base of the pyramid. This includes air, food, water and shelter among the rest.

Then next in the hierarchy is the need to be safe and secure from the environment along with the personal relationships that one has. The third is your need to love and to be love by the people around you. It is the giving of love and receiving love as well. Fourth is your need for independence and self respect. Last in line is the need for improvement in your self and knowing your qualities.

Then consider the processes that you need to do when nursing a patient. The first thing to do is to gather data or assessing in a simpler term. The second is when you diagnosed the patient based on the collected data. Then the implementation of the solution to the problem is the third. Next is the right application of the outlined solution. After this is the evaluation of the outcome.

Also important is the six rights concepts. First in the line is the right client, it is the checking of the right type of client who will be receiving the medication needed. Second is the right medication that needs to be check based on the medication order and label. Next is the right dose which is designed to minimize errors in any prescription.

To continue, right time is the indicated schedule that the medicine must be taken. The right route will help you identify if a certain patient is at the right track of services offered. Achieving the right documentation for record is fairly significant as it bears the personal information of the client that includes his or her identification name and the schedule of the medicines.

The evolution of online media may greatly help you and give you an idea of where to start reviewing or what topics need to be written in NCLEX cheat sheets . But, as a suggestion, it is always better to come up with your own cheat sheet for better understanding. This is not an assurance of course as you will have to do the way that you think can give you great motivation to study.
